Hillary Barcomb
Teaching :
Modern & traditional Clogging & Irish Step dancing.
Consisting of:
Jig & Reel, Appalachian flat foot, Buck, Stomp, and Canadian clogging.
As well as American tap dancing, jazz, hip hop moves
uniquely entwined into the choreography!
Irish step instruction consists of soft soled, low-key movements
created to inspire the new Irish step enthusiast!
Hillary's experience stems from her 6 years with tap, jazz and ballet.
Then choreographing and instructing clogging for 16 years.
She has knowledge and experience in competetion, and exhibition style clogging,
as well as offering instruction in hard soled Irish step dancing.
She is gaining her CCI ( certified clogging instructor) degree in 2009.
Hillary is employed at " Joni's School of Dance" in Barre VT and
" A Step Above for Dancers" in Northfield VT,
instructing tap, jazz, Irish Step and Clogging to all ages.
She was also employed as an instructor at the
"Shooting Star" dance studio in 2007-2008, instructing
tap, and jazz and creative movement, and Irish step dancing.
Hillary teaches the history of clogging, knowledge of your muscles & joints,
and coordenation, while helping her students become the best that they can be.
Her main focus is helping everyone to become envolved in a team dance experience.

Cora Carpenter:
Cora's experience comes from her life dancing as a tap dancer for YEARS!
She instructs with an uplifting personality that offers comfort and kindness.
Cora gives one on one instruction as well as manages the group instruction in my absence.

Brittany Bernier:
Brittany's experience in choreography and instruction of Irish step comes from being a student for years,
to then instructing at the Shooting Star dance studio, and also professionally for our organization.
We are pleased to have her sweet, sincere instruction offered to our members!
She also offers one on one clogging instruction to our Barre members, and stretchs, and warms up the classes.
